CEDAR POINT!!!!!!!! PART I
Mood:  energetic
Topic: SWEEKIN AWE-ALL BANDTRIPS

Hola mis amigas y otras personas (hi my bffs and other people) (back to english) who for some strange reason actually read my blog.

(to explain topic, sweekin = sweet + freakin, awe-all (all is better than some)

So about 1 week ago, in a far away land called Ohio (OH-HI-O), our band went to invade the small place called the Cleveland-Sandusky Area (it was never the same, i think).  This invasion was completely awe-all for the invaders, for the invadees probably not so much but I wouldn't know.

Friday

We, as in the marching band, boarded the buses at 12:30-ish.  And life was no longer the same (just kidding).  The bus ride itself was so sweeking fun, I made my BFF Kaitlyn spaz by holding a fan up to her ear.  It was gr8.  That was the awe-all-est bus ride in the history of bus rides.  Then we went to the Hard Rock Cafe.  They had awe-all food, and very awe-all decorations.  Then we went to see the CLEVELAND SYMPHONY.  They were really good.  My ears were shocked.  That was over at about 10:15, we were all tired.  YAWN!! We got back to Kalahari, our hotel/indoor waterpark/resort/(well awe-allest hotel ever!) at about 12:00 that night.  This place was awe-all.  It along with the waterpark/resort thing it had an arcade.  Every room had a balcony, fireplace, flat-screen-tv, and well other normal hotel stuff.  IT WAS STILL AWE-ALL THOUGH.  I <3-ed this hotel.  After about 2 hours of screaming about how awesome the room was spying over the balcony divider at the guys, getting caught by the guys, getting 3 showers taken, setting up for tomorrow, and getting in bed we all fell asleep.  That was a long night.

Saturday

I woke up before everyone else in my room (there were 3 other people) at 7 o'clock.  I had decided the previous night to spare the other people and shower in the morning.  So I hopped in the shower (unfortunately, I didn't literally hop Cry).  I was already dressed by the time the rest of my temporary room-mates got up.  Then our chaperone let us out of our room at 8:00, wke e went down to breakfast like 15 minutes later.  I had 2 doughnuts yummm.  We left to go to CEDAR POINT at like 10:00.  Cedar Point was awesome even for the roller-coaster-phobic person, which I most certainly am.  I went on the (huge ginormous ferris wheel which I can't remember the extremely-cheesy name for), BLUE STREAK (a really wimpy roller coaster), KROIKA (a scrambler/paratrooper cross), (an untilt-ey, tilt-a-whirl), THE SCRAMBLER, MATTERHORN (that ride that they have at just about every park, but have no standard name for that spins really fast and the car tilts sideways), (that other no-name ride that just spins really fast and the person on the outside gets completely SQUISHED), CEDAR CREEK MINE RIDE (a roller-coaster type ride that is more jolty than steep), (the spinny-swing ride), THE SPIDER (it wasn't actually called the spider but it is a spider-like as rides can get), and (some indoor ride that was like a dark version of the Cedar Creek Mine Ride but more big turns and less turns).  Now for the story.

Me and my two slightly roller-coaste-phobic friends get lunch.  I set my Mountain Dew down.  I sit down, knock it over, reach to grab it, knock over my friends Mountain Dew, and she flips out about how her feet and legs are soaked.  While I am cleaning up said Mountain Dew (after earning the nickname Mountain Dew Spiller, my friends aren't very creative) a dumb sea gull flies over and poops on my jacket.  I hated sea gulls to begin with.  My friends now say when a bird flies by "MOUNTAIN DEW SPILLER, DUCK! IT'S A BIRD!  DUCK!".  KIND PEOPLE.

LONG DAY, ERG! I FREEZE WITH NO SWEATSHIRT!

MACHO NACHOS

I am eating dinner.  I have a taco.  My other bff Afton comes up to me and my bffs.  We see lady eating MACHO NACHOS.  They had lettuce, jalepeno, olive, cheese, meat, salsa, and tomato.  It was heavenly macho.  (when i am not pressed for time i will upload a pix of the MACHO NACHOS).  So now me and Afton's inside joke is MACHONACHO.   Man those were some Macho NACHOS.

We leave CEDAR POINT at 10:00 PM.  We get back at 10:30, film fake earthquake, and go to bed at 12:00ish.

Hey my faithful readers,

sorry I haven't updated you, the small group of people who actually follow the ups and downs of my (somewhat) interesting life.

A lot has gone on in the past 15 days.  (Too much to fit in this blog, so see above for futher details)

I shall now continue blogging so that you, my faithful (faithful for what reason I cannot even imagine thinking of) blog readers will not go into further Mandi's blog deprevation (also known as MBD, it is a serious medical condition that if contracted should be immediately reported to a doctor, NOT!).  All because I am such a kind person.

Random stuff that happens to occur in my life
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Randomosity

Ok, sorry about the delay in blogging.  I've been kinda busy lately.

So my poor dog Trouble isn't doing so well.  He has a hard time walking and he can't keep down food.  My parents think he had a stroke.  He has had a good life though.  He is 17 after all.

So for happier news, I WENT SHOPPING YESTERDAY.  I got tank tops and shorts for summer and the up-coming trip to Cedar Point with the marching band.  It was really fun.  I got this one shirt that has a picture of milk and cookies high-fiving and it says teamwork.  I got another one that has Snoopy playing the piano.  It is cool.

Speaking of Cedar Point, it is in 5 days.  We get to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, then go to the Cleveland Symphony.  Then we will spend a whole day in Cedar Point.  Then the next day we are going to Kalihari Resort and then we are going on a cruise.  Then we spend another day at Kalihari.  Then we go home.  Anyway its gonna be the funnest thing this entire year.

I have to go.

Retainer
Mood:  irritated
Topic: COMPLAINING ME!!!!!

Ok, so yesterday I got my retainer.

I was so happy because I got my braces off.........then it happened.  My retainer started to hurt.  Then I kept pinching my tongue when I put it in.  Now, I have a ginormous sore spot on my tongue where my retainer is pushing up on my tongue.  It is so sore!!!!

Not only does it hurt my tongue but it is moving my teeth so it hurts like the braces.  And when I talk, I slur all of the words together and it sounds like I have a "Freeman" lysp.

RETAINERS ARE UBER(using Mel's definition)CHUMMY.

JazzBandTour (with no spaces)
Mood:  happy
Topic: Jazz Band

Okay, so today the middle school jazz band went to the elementary schools.  The little kids there scare me.  We played them 5 uberly-awesome songs.  It was fun.  We got out of a whole day of school.

So we got out at 8:25 and went down to the bandroom.  We finished loading up the bus at 8:50 and off we went to the most depressed elementary school in the whole entire world.  I mean they just sat there with this bored look on their faces.  The bus ride was so fun.

Then we went to an okay school way out in the middle of nowhere, aka Hickstown, PA.  They weren't completely bored.  At the end, they even asked us for an encore.  How cool is that.  These little 4th grade and lower kids asked us FOR AN ENCORE.  They may live in Hickstown, PA, but not all of them are complete hicks.  And off to McDonald's we went.

We were so loud on the bus.  Twas unbelieveable.  And then all 20-some band geeks piled into a puny McDonald's.  It was a funny sight.  I got a Big Mac, fries, apple dippers, water and a sundae.  While we were there, this old lady, probably like 85, walked up and she was like "so I guess you are from Marion Center.  I used to teach there once."  And she walked away.  After that "heartfelt, tearjerking conversation".  Just kidding of course.  And then this drummer goes up to this other band chic and he takes her twenty dollar bill.  So she is like reaching for this $20 bill for like five minutes and I go "why don't you just take his food" so she takes his sandwich and fries back to her table.  Then he pretends he wants to trade the $20 for his food.  She walks up and he runs to the bathroom and pretends to flush her $20 down the toilet.  Then he convinces her that he actually flushed it.  And then stupid lends him five more dollars.  Then there was this guy who looked exactly like a hobo, it was freaky.  Then my favorite male band geek is obsessing about how this McDonald's worker "wraps hamburgers like there is no tomorrow."  He then goes up to buy an ice cream cone (something only he would buy) and cinnamon melts.  Well he doesn't have time to eat his ginormous box of cinnamon melts, so he convinces his piano-playing-bff to shove this humungous box of cinnamon melts in her tiny purse.  She smuggled this ginormous box of cinnamon melts onto the bus.

Then the bus ride to the last school of our tour.  OMFG (oh my fairy godmother, yes anna I used your word).  Devin was shooting spitballs at people.  I had to use my music folder as a shield.  Then my fav. male band geek latches a chain purse on his tongue and my saxophone-bff takes a picture.  Then a bunch of sharp turns and flailing limbs later (I mean ubersharp turns and A LOT of flailing limbs), we finally arrived at the final stop of our tour.  These kids, OMFG.  They screamed so loud.  We did the best at this school.  There was this kid who looked like he was drunk or something.  His eyes were all droopy and he was kind of "out of it".  He was funny.  They kept asking us for encores.  TWAS UBERULOUS.  These kids were so hyper.  It was like they went to McDonald's and downed 5 sweet teas, EACH.  And off we went.

We got back 5 minutes before the buses to our homes pulled out so we had to scramble off the bus.  The worst part of today was not being able to go on the playground.  I mean who doesn't like playgrounds.

Well got to go celebrate a job well done.
